一、學(xué)院介紹

南京大學(xué)現(xiàn)代生物研究院聚焦于原創(chuàng)性生物醫(yī)學(xué)前沿基礎(chǔ)研究，鼓勵(lì)和支持開拓性、系統(tǒng)性的科學(xué)探索，致力成為擁有一批國(guó)際公認(rèn)學(xué)術(shù)權(quán)威和“學(xué)者型研究環(huán)境”的國(guó)際一流生物醫(yī)學(xué)研究創(chuàng)新中心?，F(xiàn)代生物院實(shí)行院長(zhǎng)負(fù)責(zé)制和準(zhǔn)聘/長(zhǎng)聘 (tenure-track/tenured) 教授制度，擁有相對(duì)獨(dú)立的人事和財(cái)務(wù)自主權(quán)，實(shí)行與國(guó)際頂尖大學(xué)接軌的教授招聘、學(xué)術(shù)評(píng)估和晉升模式以及研究生培養(yǎng)體系。現(xiàn)有林安寧教授和帥克教授2位終身教授，曾分別在美國(guó)芝加哥大學(xué)和加州大學(xué)洛杉磯分校任終身正教授。另有的12位準(zhǔn)聘助理教授，均有完整出色的海外博士后訓(xùn)練經(jīng)歷并取得國(guó)際一流水平的創(chuàng)新研究成果。研究院與鼓樓醫(yī)院、江北核心商務(wù)區(qū)等建立了合作伙伴關(guān)系，并聘請(qǐng)國(guó)際著名學(xué)者組成科學(xué)顧問(wèn)委員會(huì)，為現(xiàn)代生物院的發(fā)展提供戰(zhàn)略性咨詢和建議，具有較大的國(guó)際影響力。

二、招聘崗位設(shè)置

南京大學(xué)現(xiàn)代生物研究院擬面向全球招聘現(xiàn)代生物院面向全球招聘有志于從事生物醫(yī)學(xué)前沿基礎(chǔ)研究的優(yōu)秀青年人才到學(xué)院工作。本次擬招聘崗位為準(zhǔn)聘助理教授，崗位總數(shù)原則上不超過(guò)4個(gè)。招聘研究方向包括：

（1）計(jì)算機(jī)模擬和生物人工智能

（2）感染、免疫與代謝機(jī)理

（3）癌癥和神經(jīng)退行性疾病等重大疾病分子機(jī)制

（4）基因編輯

（5）創(chuàng)新型藥物研發(fā)和精準(zhǔn)醫(yī)學(xué)

3. 一流的學(xué)術(shù)背景：具有相關(guān)學(xué)科領(lǐng)域的博士學(xué)位，具有一流教學(xué)科研機(jī)構(gòu)的學(xué)習(xí)、工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)，熟悉相關(guān)領(lǐng)域國(guó)際前沿的研究動(dòng)態(tài)。助理教授要求申請(qǐng)人應(yīng)具有完整出色的博士后訓(xùn)練經(jīng)歷并取得國(guó)際一流水平的創(chuàng)新研究成果，能夠獨(dú)立開展創(chuàng)新型研究；

4. 出色的教學(xué)能力：應(yīng)具有能夠勝任本專業(yè)核心基礎(chǔ)課程和前沿課程的教學(xué)能力，掌握良好的教學(xué)方法，具有較強(qiáng)的語(yǔ)言表達(dá)能力；

5. 突出的科研成果顯示度與未來(lái)科研發(fā)展?jié)摿Γ簯?yīng)有相關(guān)研究方向的成果顯示度，對(duì)相關(guān)研究領(lǐng)域有原創(chuàng)性觀點(diǎn)，未來(lái)研究計(jì)劃思路清晰，具有較好的學(xué)術(shù)潛力。

Tenure-track Faculty Positions

Institute of Modern Biology, Nanjing University, 2024

I. About the Institute

The Institute of Modern Biology of Nanjing University focuses on original basic biomedical research, encourages and supports pioneering and systematic scientific exploration, and strives to become a world-class biomedical research innovation center with a group of internationally recognized academic authorities and a "scholarly research environment". The dean of Institute of Modern Biology takes full responsibilities of all institutional affairs. And the institute applies tenure-track/tenured professorship with highly autonomy on personnel, financial professorial recruitment, academic and tenured-evaluation. Graduate student training system here are also in line with top international universities. At present the institute has two tenured professors, Professor Anning Lin and Professor Ke Shuai. They were respectively tenured professors at the University of Chicago and the University of California, Los Angeles. The twelve assistant professors in the tenure-track are all with outstanding overseas postdoctoral training experience and have achieved innovative research results of international top level. The Institute has established partnerships with Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital and Jiangbei Core Business District and has hired a scientific advisory board of internationally renowned scholars to provide strategic advice and recommendations for the development of the Modern Biological Institute, which has a large international influence.

II. Positions

The Institute of Modern Biology of Nanjing University plans to recruit young scholars who aspire to have a career in the field of Frontier Basic Biomedical Research. The application is open to scholars from all over the world. There are vacancies for 4(maximum) tenure-track assistant professor. Specific fields of research open for recruitment are:

1. Computer simulation and bio-artificial intelligence

2. Infection, immunity and metabolic mechanism

3. Molecular mechanisms of major diseases such as cancer and neurodegenerative diseases

4. Gene editing

5. Innovative Drug Discovery and Precision medicine

III. Qualifications

The applicant should

(1) Abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, and have a passion for teaching and research;

(2) Abide by the ethics of teachers, uphold academic integrity, be willing to work diligently, and have no criminal record or record in breaching the ethics of teachers and/or academic integrity;

(3) First-class academic background: Must have a PhD degree in relevant disciplines. Study and work experience in a first-class education-research institute, and have well matured understanding of international cutting-edge research topics in the relevant field. Applicants for Assistant Professor are required to have a completed and outstanding postdoctoral training experience with innovative research outcomes at internationally high standard, and be able to carry out innovative research independently;

(4) Excellent teaching ability: should be capable to teach both core fundamental and newly advanced topic courses in the relevant field, have excellent teaching and language presentation skills;

(5) Demonstrate outstanding research output and potential: the applicant should have publications in his/her field of research, original ideas about relevant fields of research, a clear vision about future research plans, and good potential for further academic development.
