一、本院介紹

南京大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系建于1921年，是國(guó)內(nèi)第一個(gè)現(xiàn)代數(shù)學(xué)系，首任系主任是熊慶來(lái)教授，歷經(jīng)國(guó)立東南大學(xué)、國(guó)立中央大學(xué)時(shí)期，建國(guó)后更名為南京大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系，2024年7月更名為南京大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)院。

南京大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)院自成立以來(lái)，在國(guó)內(nèi)外享有盛譽(yù)。我院一直強(qiáng)調(diào)高質(zhì)量的人才培養(yǎng)和科學(xué)研究，對(duì)中國(guó)高等教育的貢獻(xiàn)受到高度認(rèn)可，產(chǎn)生的深遠(yuǎn)影響涉及多個(gè)數(shù)學(xué)研究領(lǐng)域。

我院重視教師的培養(yǎng)，并致力于營(yíng)造輕松和諧的氛圍。近幾年來(lái)，多名教師獲國(guó)家級(jí)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，包括國(guó)家自然科學(xué)獎(jiǎng)、數(shù)學(xué)前沿獎(jiǎng)等；幾乎所有成員都是中國(guó)自然科學(xué)基金項(xiàng)目的主要研究者。 

二、招聘崗位設(shè)置

    南京大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)院熱烈歡迎有志于從事數(shù)學(xué)各研究方向的優(yōu)秀青年人才前來(lái)工作。本次擬面向全球招聘準(zhǔn)聘助理教授崗位、準(zhǔn)聘副教授崗位總數(shù)不超過(guò)6個(gè)，招聘的研究方向包括但不限于：

（1）基礎(chǔ)數(shù)學(xué)

（2）應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)與計(jì)算

（3）概率統(tǒng)計(jì)

我院常年歡迎非以上方向的優(yōu)秀數(shù)學(xué)人才前來(lái)應(yīng)聘。

（5）具有出色的教學(xué)能力，能夠勝任本專業(yè)核心基礎(chǔ)課程和前沿課程的教學(xué)；

（6）具有突出的科研成果和較好的學(xué)術(shù)潛力。

五、薪酬待遇

（1）參照事業(yè)編制聘用；

Tenure-track Positions Available in the School of Mathematics, Nanjing University, China

Description

The School of Mathematics at Nanjing University in China now have six tenure-track positions available at assistant/associate professor level. The minimum requirement is Ph.D. degree in any field of pure and applied mathematics. The following directions should be primarily considered:  

(1) Pure mathematics

(2) Applied & computational mathematics

(3) Probability & Statistics

Nanjing University is one of the most prestigious institutions of higher education in China. The School of Mathematics, founded in 1921, has built up a high reputation around the world and has been highly recognized for its outstanding contribution to the higher education and its enormous influences in many areas of mathematical researches.

The organization of faculty members in the school is relatively relaxing and of harmonious atmosphere. Many national level awards have been granted to the faculty members recently, such as the Second National Prize of Natural Sciences, Morningside Medals of Mathematics, etc., and almost all members are Principal Investigators of one or more projects of the Natural Science Foundation of China. The senior members enhance the reputation of School, but School provides the considerably concerns and supports to junior members.

 Qualifications 

• Applicants should abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China with enthusiasm of teaching and scientific research. 

• Good teaching ethics, adhere to academic ethics, diligent working performance are required, with no criminal record or punishment record for violating teaching ethics and academic ethics. 

• Applicants should have a PhD degree in Mathematics. 

• Approved candidates should have a verified record of excellent original research. 

• Approved candidates should be capable of teaching core courses at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels. 

• Demonstrated capacity or potential for future innovation in research and teaching is essential.
