Work under limited supervision and in collaboration with marketing and product management, engineering, field sales organization, key business partners and the senior management team, to maximize the profitability of the business by systematically employing key pricing levers. You will make pricing recommendations to ensure compliance with public pricing policy. You will assist with the pricing strategies for current and future products. You will analyze market drivers and competition to determine price of new products, and you will review final pricing contracts. Develop strategies and tactics from insights gained by conducting detailed analysis on transactional sales and Win/Loss opportunity data. ?Engage with the GMs, Offering Managers, Sales and Marketing to develop and execute a pipeline of projects to support improved price realization, with a regular MOS to execute actions and measure the outcomes. ?Be responsible for developing and implementing the annual list price update process. Utilize analysis tools (such as Tableau) and executions tools (PROS, SAP) to deploy these updates. ?Build training documentation, sales playbooks by gathering good examples and best practices to support annual price updates. Partner with Marketing Communications to ensure proper customer communication ?Conduct detailed discount trend analysis to support the regional pricing deal desk process. Utilize best practice deal desk templates to present your findings during the weekly reviews. ?Partner with Deal Desk leaders to implement common deal desk tools and process. Be able to lead deal desk reviews when necessary. ?Works with marketing leaders to ensure that enough market knowledge is present to support pricing excellence ?Lead LOB monthly price reporting and identify performance trends/drivers. Provide improvement recommendations to achieve region price outcomes. Qualifications ?Min of 3-5 years of pricing or product management experience. ?Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college ?Self-starter and able to work with limited supervision ?Demonstrated problem solving and project management skills ?Ability to develop relationships and work closely with cross functional teams ?Ability to proactively drive business improvements Desired (but not mandatory) ?Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) certification from PPS ?Proven data analysis experience and solid grasp of pricing models
